What is NC DAP?
The North Carolina Diagnostic Assessment and Placement (NC DAP) test is a customized ACCUPLACER placement test given to determine readiness and skill level in English, reading, writing, and math. It is given to applicants pursuing a degree, diploma, and certain certificates. Test results are used to place students in appropriate classes in English, reading, writing, and math and to determine if developmental instruction is needed. WECHS students take the NC DAP during their sophomore year.
How can students prepare for NC DAP?

Wake Tech has a long history of delivering high-quality education online. In 2013, Wake Tech became the first community college in North Carolina (and one of the first in the nation) to offer a MOOC when it launched Introductory Algebra Review (IAR), developed with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
