Personal Bio: Elementary and high school years from Tomah, Wisconsin—played volleyball/ basketball and ran track; born in Iowa: true Midwesterner. Attended Liberty University on a Volleyball Scholarship 1979-1982. Began teaching in 1980’s in Miami, Florida at the age of 21. I have 3 children: 2 girls and 1 boy: Brittany is a Physical Therapist/ Lauren is a project manager for Kane Realty/ Gabe is a senior in High School-soccer player.

I am originally from Western NY and I came to North Carolina from the Northern Virginia area where I taught PE/Health for 8 years. I am also a veteran of the US Navy where I was enlisted for 8 years and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. I enjoy watching and participating in a variety of sports during my personal time as well as spending time with my wife and our dog. This will be my first year at Millbrook High School.
