    Good Afternoon,  Washington Wizards!

This is Mr. Grant with a few announcements.

What a great first week of school. I love seeing our excited students and passionate teachers in action. We look forward to having our kindergarteners join us Tuesday.

The Boys and Girls Club will close at 6 pm today (Friday, September 2) due to the strong thunderstorms predicted.

Parents, remember to sign up for Class Dojo so you can see when your child receives reinforcing feedback on their behavior and efforts. The main page of the Washington website has a helpful hints sheet.

Carpool is very busy this year.  We encourage you to arrive after 4:05 or 4:10. This will help limit the overflow of cars onto MLK Blvd.  Remember, carpool procedures require that you only turn right in and turn right out during arrival and dismissal. This is for your safety and the smooth flowing of carpool.

No school Monday for the Labor Day holiday.

    Have a great long weekend!
