Free SAT/ACT/GRE College Test Prep from the College Foundation of NC
This link will direct you to a free online SAT resource for students sponsored by the College Foundation of North Carolina.
Directions for students:
- Go to www.cfnc.org.
- Click on Test Preparation.
- Either log in with username and password, or if you are a first-time CFNC user, click the New User button to set up an account.
- From College Test Prep Screen, select SAT.
- From the SAT Companion Home Screen, students will be able to access tutorials and practice questions for Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Data Analysis, Sentence Completion, Reading Passages, and Grammar.
The site will keep track of the student’s progress and report a percentile ranking for each of these 7 categories. There is also a vocabulary builder section and an SAT Essay section.
Students can also “Add a Test” date to their account, in order to personalize their study program to be most effective.
Students can also access sample tests, test tips, exam information and word and questions of the day.

Learning Beyond the Classroom has activities and resources to help children and teens explore reading and writing after school, during vacations, or all summer long.
