We are only successful if our students are achieving. It is our core belief that all children, regardless of socio-economic circumstances, can be high achieving students. It is our job to make sure that each child is performing at or above grade level, graduating on time prepared for college and a career.
We measure student achievement in a variety of ways, including students’ mastery of standards, promotion of grade levels and courses, and graduation rates. We implement several tests and assessments that provide information on how well we are doing and where we can improve.
As a parent, you play an important role in your child’s success. Information in this section will help you navigate the tests and assessments that WCPSS provides.
