Flu Shots for WCPSS Employees, Retirees & Dependents
WCPSS employees, retirees and their dependents with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) State Health Plan benefits are being offered seasonal flu vaccines.
State Health Plan is promoting Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina's "Stick It to the Flu" program to make getting a seasonal flu shot convenient for Plan members.
The seasonal flu vaccine will also include the vaccination for H1N1. One vaccination covers both.
The flu vaccine is available at no charge to all Plan members when received at any in-network doctor's office, in-network health department, a participating Minute Clinic, or through a participating North Carolina immunizing pharmacist.
The free flu shot program will run from September 14 through December 31, 2011.

- Visit the State Health Plan website at http://www.shpnc.org/
- Select Find a Doctor.
- Select BSBSNC PPO Plan Provider Search
- Enter a zip code or select a county.
- Under Convenience Care select: Convenience Care Centers or Pharmacy (Flu/Other Limited Injections)
To receive your flu shot, you must provide:
- A valid State Health Plan and/or BCBSNC ID card
- A photo ID
