What's new at Kingswood?

Kingswood students enjoy using the Engineering Design Process to problem solve. Last year students engineered solutions to a variety of problems. Some of the activities included creating ways to balance the most toothpicks on top of a bottle, designing a basket out of newspaper to carry a pumpkin, and creating a bridge out of paper that could hold the most pennies without falling. Students learned that the design process: Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create, and Improve are invaluable strategies to use when problem solving.
