WCPSS Transportation is making improvements to the online communication system that families use to request service.
The most important change for parents requires they provide a valid student ID when using the Transportation web page to submit questions about their students’ bus service. The valid student ID and matching student name must be provided to submit the request.
Schools provide families the students ID, which can be found online in Home Base, on report cards or from teachers or data managers.
Coupled with other required fields in the form such as the student’s name, this change should reduce the amount of processing time by Transportation staff and increase the time available to address the request itself.
The effort is part of a larger customer service initiative involving Technology Services, Transportation, and Communications as we continue to improve bus safety and efficiency.
