Board approves design for Garner High renovation
Major renovation of Garner Magnet High took a step forward this week. The Board of Education approved the schematic design documents prepared by Ratio Architects, Inc. at its May 19 meeting. The project is scheduled to open for the 2018–19 school year after using South Garner High school for swing space during the 2016–18 school years. The renovations will provide a 2,262-student capacity high school at the current site at 2101 Spring Drive in Garner. The project is part of the CIP 2013 building program.
