Areas Being Tested: EOC Exam ONLY
Biology EOC and Math 1 EOC- 7:25-10:40 A.M
Lunch- 10:40-11:36 A.M
Study Hall Period- 11:40 A.M- 2:18 P.M
Only students taking Biology, English II, and Math 1B are required to attend school. These EOC administrations have specific technical and logistical requirements that necessitate they be given in isolation on Wednesday and Thursday. These students will participate in exam reviews during their exam periods on June 1 and 2.
Late Arrival to Exams: Students arriving late to school will not
be allowed to test; they will need to attend a make-up session on June 5
and/or June 8.
Early Departure: The exam period will end around 10:40 A.M. Testing students who return signed parent permission forms allowing them to leave campus may leave campus at 10:40 A.M. Students who do not return signed parent permission forms must remain on campus in designated areas until the buses leave at 2:18 P.M. For students remaining on campus, lunch will be served, but students must remain in the cafeteria. The parent permission form must be returned to the main office no mater than the morning of the student's EOC exam in order for the student to leave at 10:40 A.M. Students who leave campus without appropriate documentation will be subject to consequences aligned with the school's disciplinary guidelines.
Senior Exam Exemptions: Seniors cannot be exempt from a
state exam: CTE Exams, NC Final Exams, and End-of-Course (EOC) Exams.
Seniors can only be exempt from a teacher-made exam. Seniors will be
exempt from non-State exams under the following parameters:
- 3 or fewer excused absences with an A average
- 2 or fewer excused absences with a B average
- 1 or fewer excused absences with a C average
