Getting Ready for the New School Year (4.6 MB): While students have been enjoying their time off this summer, employees of the school system have been hard at work behind the scenes preparing for the upcoming year. As you will see, a lot of work had to take place before the first day of school on Aug. 11.
Interviews with Students (4.5 MB): We caught up with several of our students to find out about the cool things they did over the summer and what they are looking forward to this school year.
Exceptional Employees (4.6 MB): Meet David Ansbacher, the new principal of East Millbrook Magnet Middle School. The former assistant principal will be one of 16 new principals in Wake County schools this year.

"America, I Hear You Singing" (5.8 MB): Third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students from West Lake Elementary School sing a song about America.
Artwork (1.3 MB): Students from West Lake Elementary School display artwork created under the direction of art teacher Cathy Godwin.
The Answer Man (3.3 MB): Jeff Nash shares information on the upcoming Wake County College and Post-Secondary Opportunities Fair.
