Free Color Printer

The Free Color Printer program is using a new printer, it's the Xerox WorkCentre C2424 color multifunction system, which is a copier, scanner and high quality color printer. You get a $2600 printer and three years of in-house tech support for free.

The description on the rest of this page is for the older model printer, but the signup directions at the bottom of the page is the same.

Use 317613 as the Program Code when you sign up, and I might get a little gift certificate or something if they happen to have a contest going on that month.

The Xerox Phaser 8550/DX solid ink printer costs about $2400. The print quality is excellent. The ink produces a shiny surface like a page from a magazine. And the features are outstanding.

You can get one for FREE, along with FREE in-house warranty support for three years, with a few strings attached.

You get:

Check it out at: Information page and the pricing page.

You will get the Phaser 8550/DX printer with the three year on-site warranty, all for FREE. ($4000 to $5000 value)

The catch:

You have to print at least 2000 pages a month for three years. (Printing two-sided counts as two pages.) After the three years, the printer is yours to keep with no conditions. They will average the months if you print a lot one month and not as much the next month. If you don't print your minimum for the month, or don't have a 2000 page monthly average, you will be fined $100. You print and fax a page each month to show your printing status.

You must buy your supplies from Xerox on the Web with a credit card. You need the credit card number when you apply for the printer.

A typical supply order, as follows, is good for about 3,400 average pages and costs $325.

Black ink used to be FREE, but not any more. The black ink is half the cost of the color ink, and much cheaper than black toner used in a laser printer. Overall, the ink is much cheaper than the ink used in an injet printer.

The printer comes with enough ink for about 3400 pages.

The only consumable item is the maintenance kit, which is very easy to install. The first one lasts 10,000 pages and costs $100 to replace. An extended maintenance kit lasts for 30,000 pages and costs $150. Always keep one on hand because you can't print when it runs out.

You get Free on-site warranty for the three years you are on the program.

Why are they doing this?

It's a new technology. It's not a laser printer and not an ink jet. They are giving away printers to spread the word about "solid ink" technology.

Where do I sign up!!

Go to www.FreeColorPrinters.com to get more information about the program.

Put 317613 in your application when asked for a Program Code. You will have to specify how many pages you will print each month in several categories of printing. Make sure it looks like you will be printing a lot of color pages, since they want to sell you a lot of color ink. The total number of pages specified (at least 2000) will be your minimum number you have to print each month.

The only negative I have found about this printer is that you usually cannot laminate the printouts. The wax ink will run. I have heated pages up under heat lamps and in hot cars in the summer time with no problems, but the laminator both heats the ink and then squeezes it. That's the problem. Some laminators will work if they don't heat as much or run the paper through faster. Also, it will not print to odd size paper, which is not a problem for most people.

My Phaser 850 printer has already graduated from the three-year program, and is still going strong after printing 100,000 pages.

If you have any questions, please let me know. Feel free to pass this offer on to others. This offer is available to schools, churches, and businesses.
