Cooperative Program Agreement (Huskins)
Cooperative Program Agreement (also called Huskins Bill) - provides enrichment opportunities for high school students by enrolling in courses not otherwise available to them. Over 100 courses have been specifically identified in the annual agreement, which are taught by Wake Tech instructors and are held at Wake Tech or at a WCPSS school. Students receive both WCPSS credit and WTCC credit. Classes are free for our WCPSS students. Student must be in ninth-grade or higher.

November 19, 2007 - Pre-registration deadline for Spring 2008. High School representatives must notify each Wake Tech department representatives of the participation level of interest for pre-registration. Be prepared to give an estimated number of students who would like to attend orientation. Course offerings for Spring 2008 are Dental 111, Medical Assisting 110, Medical Lab Technology 110, and Nursing Assistant 101.
November 29, 2007 - Spring 2008 Orientation for all Allied Health Huskin's classes. Mandatory for all students and WCPSS representatives. Meet at 3:30 in the Health Science Building in room 312. Students will register for classes at the orientation.
December 6, 2007 - High Schools will be contacted for class assignments and confirmation.
January 23, 24, and 25, 2008 - Spring semester begins.
