Internship Presentation
Each intern must present his/her internship experience. This presentation must include a description of the work done, the internship project, the journaling experience, and any other aspect of the internship that needs to be presented.
The audience for the presentation must include:
- Business sponsor
- Certified staff sponsor
The audience should also include:
- Career Development Coordinator
- Teachers
- School administrators
- WCPSS Central Services personnel
- Parents/guardians
- Other students
- Other persons the student may wish to invite
The best location for this presentation is in a classroom where the work of the internship matches the work in the class. This helps other students learn through the work of the intern, and will hopefully encourage others to pursue an internship.
The internship presentation may also take place in a conference room, or any place deemed appropriate.
The presentation should:
- Include visuals (posters, graphs, charts, models, handouts, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Be a minimum of 10 minutes in length.
- Allow for a question and answer period
