Cast List
Thanks for participating in a wonderful cast meeting today. The production team is pleased to announce our final casting decisions. Some roles are double cast, and some roles have understudies. Double-cast roles will be scheduled for two performances each. When not performing, the double-cast actor will be assisting as a dresser. The actual performance dates for double-cast roles will be announced after the rehearsals in August. Understudies are not guaranteed a performance.
Scripts will be mailed to those who did not receive them within two weeks. One full script, plot summary, and reference recording was left today in the Carolina Room. If you left your materials, please e-mail Liz.
High schoolers, see the Internship Credit section to see if you wish to pursue an internship.

Orchestra
A full student orchestra will be coordinated by Marta Partridge.

Music will be available for individual practice during the summer. Ensemble rehearsal dates/times/locations are still to be determined. The orchestra will definitely be involved throughout Tech Week.
Technicians
Student technicians will assist with all aspects (scenery, lighting, sound, costumes) of the production. If you have an interest in working backstage, please . Please put "Les Miz Tech" in the subject line.
Internship Credit
High school students participating in this musical (cast, orchestra, crew) can qualify for internship credit. You will be working with a professional director in a professional work situation, which qualifies for an internship.
The internship requires the completion of 90 or 180 hours of work. This translates into an extra 1/2 or full course credit on your transcript.

Les Miserables - School Edition is a cooperative effort of the Wake County Public School System and Broadway Series South.
Directing the production is Broadway star and NC School of the Arts graduate Terrence Mann and Wakefield High School Theatre teacher Paul Orsett.
