There are several different versions of the same CTE logo. Some are optimized for printing, while others are optimized for viewing on a computer screen, such as PowerPoint or web pages.
GIF files (file name ends in .gif) are compressed files that work well for web pages and PowerPoint. They are designed to load fast on a computer screen. GIFs are best for shapes of solid color (like the CTE logo), and are not very good for photos.
JPEG files (file name ends in .jpg) are compressed files that work well for web pages and PowerPoint. They are designed to load fast on a computer screen. JPEGs are best for photographs rather than shapes of solid color.
TIFF files (file name ends in .tif) are good for printing on paper.
Postscript files (files ending in .eps) are the best for high-quality printing.
PDF files (files ending in .pdf) are also good for high-quality printing.
CTE-small.gif is the smallest file size. It is best for web pages. At 72 DPI, the logo is 5" x 2.6" in size. It has a white background.
CTE-small-trans.gif is the smallest file size. It is best for web pages. At 72 DPI, the logo is 5" x 2.6" in size. It has a transparent background.
CTE-med.gif is a medium size file. It is best for web pages or PowerPoint when you need a large image. At 72 DPI, the logo is 10" x 5.2" in size. It has a white background.
CTE-med-trans.gif is a medium size file. It is best for web pages or PowerPoint when you need a large image. At 72 DPI, the logo is 10" x 5.2" in size. It has a transparent background.
CTE-small.jpg has a larger file size than the GIF version, and the quality is not as good. Use this only if the GIF does not work in your application. At 72 DPI, the logo is 5" x 2.6" in size. It has a white background.

CTE-600.tif is a large size file. It is best for printing on paper when you need a large or high quality image. At 600 DPI, the logo is 6.9" x 3.6" in size. At 300 DPI, this logo is 13.8" x 7.3" in size.
CTE.eps is a postscript file. This is what professional printers expect. This file can be scaled to any size without loosing quality.
CTE.pdf is a PDF (portable document format) file. Some professional printers might prefer this file type.
