THANK YOU
A huge "THANK YOU" to all the students who auditioned for the WCPSS/BROADWAY SERIES SOUTH production of Aida. The selection process was extremely challenging, as each student was well prepared, and impressive to the audition team.
If you were cast, please to indicate your acceptance of the role you were assigned. Check this website weekly for updates from the director/production team. We will notify you soon about details including preparation, costume fittings and rehearsals. In order to prepare for rehearsals this summer, you might want to listen to a cast recording and do some research on the web regarding both the original Verdi opera and the Elton John/Tim Rice Broadway production of Aida.
If you were not cast, but are still interested in participating "behind the scenes," we welcome your involvement. If you indicated your interest on your audition card, we will contact you. If you did not indicate a technical support role, but would still like to be involved, please feel free to .
If you are interested in receiving internship credit for your participation, see the information also on this website and discuss your options with the Curriculum Development Coordinator (CDC) at your school.
Congratulations! We are outrageously excited about the opportunity to work with you.
