Swift Creek is a traditional calendar school with an enrollment of 540 students which is near our capacity of 545. Many of our parents positively comment on the strength of our staff and about our warm, family style atmosphere. We are a very diverse school and our most recent EOGs demonstrated an 87% passing rate.
Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS): We are the only school in Wake County to be a North Carolina Exemplar School (the highest award) for four years is a row. PBIS sets the climate and culture of our school and focuses on recognizing positive student behavior.
Our PTA is very active in our school from fund raising to volunteering in classrooms and they are one of many reasons that our students are successful.
We offer Before and After School Care for a fee.
Check out our website at http://swiftcreekes.wcpss.net/ where you can find more information along with our N.C. School Report Card.
Traditional curriculum schools offer students high quality instruction, opportunities for advanced studies, creative exploration and extra-curricular activities in a nurturing educational setting. Some of the highest-performing schools in Wake County are traditional curriculum schools.
Important: Bus routes are subject to change based on actual student distribution, parent appeals, and other factors. The information here will be updated regularly, but updates may take several days to be reflected online. This route information last updated: 7:27 AM, Wed, Oct 1, 2014.
Stop times: Parents can anticipate a stop time based on the route start time, estimating 3 minutes between stops for neighborhood routes and 10 minutes for express routes. The exact stop time will vary during the first weeks of school. Students should be ready and waiting for the bus at least 10 minutes before the bus is expected to arrive.
Bus schedules: We urge parents to be patient as routes settle during the first few weeks of school. With students becoming familiar with this new routine, bus routes may take more time.
Faded Stops: Stops in faded text are on the route, but do not pick up or drop off students attending this school.
Questions?: Contact Transportation.
Can't find your bus stop?: If you cannot find your child's bus stop, please fill out our customer support form to report a missing bus stop.
