Description
A full complement of arts, English, healthful living, math, second languages, science, social studies courses will include academic, honors and elective offerings. The second year will include Advanced Placement (AP) course offerings. As the comprehensive school program is developed and implemented, additional options for personalization will be considered. Smaller learning community opportunities, a possible career academy, and other such programs will integrate core academics, electives, and career and technical education (CTE) courses.
Co-curricular organizations will be available for student participation. In addition, Student Council will work with the student body and administration in the development of a range of extra-curricular options?all designed to enhance each student?s educational experience in a school focused on relationships, relevance, and rigor.
As a member of the Tri-8 4-A Conference, students will have opportunities to participate in junior varsity and varsity sports (football will be only junior varsity in the first year).
