Olive Chapel Elementary School is an inviting, friendly school providing successful and challenging learning experiences in a caring, safe and nurturing environment. We are a year round school serving approximately 950 students kindergarten through fifth grade. Olive Chapel is located in the Southwestern Wake County, in the Town of Apex, which is known as the Peak of Good Living.
Olive Chapel Elementary School is a North Carolina Honor School of Excellence. Our success is the result of the dedication and commitment of staff, students and parents. Through integrated learning opportunities students are developing the skills needed to become productive citizens and lifelong learners. The High Qualified teaching staff at Olive Chapel provide students engaging lessons which require the students to collaborate, think critically, communicate and creatively solve problems.
The Olive Chapel school community is committed to the development of a home and school partnership as is evident by our Family Marathon, monthly Walk to School days and Artapalooza activities.
The Olive Chapel PTA is very active and works closely with staff to support the vision and mission of our school. Our PTA volunteers, through a variety of activities, work closely with the staff to further the learning opportunities of our students. We believe our students reach their highest potential when the community, staff, families and students work together.
At Olive Chapel we are providing the foundation for students to graduate and move into the next phase of their lives. We are developing a generation of problem solvers and critical thinkers, who will have the opportunity to develop skills to communicate and collaborate creatively to be successful in the 21st Century.
We are the Olive Chapel Elementary "Clippers", where our belief is "Every Child…Reaching and Achieving".

Important: Bus routes are subject to change based on actual student distribution, parent appeals, and other factors. The information here will be updated regularly, but updates may take several days to be reflected online. This route information last updated: 8:35 AM, Fri, Oct 17, 2014.
Stop times: Parents can anticipate a stop time based on the route start time, estimating 3 minutes between stops for neighborhood routes and 10 minutes for express routes. The exact stop time will vary during the first weeks of school. Students should be ready and waiting for the bus at least 10 minutes before the bus is expected to arrive.
Bus schedules: We urge parents to be patient as routes settle during the first few weeks of school. With students becoming familiar with this new routine, bus routes may take more time.
Faded Stops: Stops in faded text are on the route, but do not pick up or drop off students attending this school.
Questions?: Contact Transportation.
Can't find your bus stop?: If you cannot find your child's bus stop, please fill out our customer support form to report a missing bus stop.
