North Forest Pines prides itself on focusing on the individual child by working to develop each child academically, socially and developmentally. We work to create a learning atmosphere that respects individual learning differences and encourages students to be risk takers and critical thinkers. We understand that the world is an ever changing landscape and as a result we embrace the use of technology and 21st century tools throughout the school.
Teachers incorporate varying levels of thinking and research based instructional practices into their daily lessons. By challenging each student to reach their potential and engaging families in the educational process, we embrace the team approach to develop children that are prepared to be successful at the next level and beyond.
Our school offers way for students to get involved beyond their classroom as well. Some of these opportunities include student council, choral ensemble, Nook book club, chess club, Feed the Bin recycling program, math olympiads and Odyssey of the Mind. We also offer a YMCA after-school program on campus.
We invite you to walk through the front doors of NFP where you will see an organized learning evnironment and experience at atmosphere where children and adults are happily interacting and collaborating. NFP is the place where learning takes flight and children soar to success.
* Traditional 180-day school year divided into nine-week quarters with a three-week break at the end of each quarter
* Continuous cycle of learning
* Remedial and acceleration programs offered during track-out as resources permit
Important: Bus routes are subject to change based on actual student distribution, parent appeals, and other factors. The information here will be updated regularly, but updates may take several days to be reflected online. This route information last updated: 8:35 AM, Fri, Oct 17, 2014.
Stop times: Parents can anticipate a stop time based on the route start time, estimating 3 minutes between stops for neighborhood routes and 10 minutes for express routes. The exact stop time will vary during the first weeks of school. Students should be ready and waiting for the bus at least 10 minutes before the bus is expected to arrive.
Bus schedules: We urge parents to be patient as routes settle during the first few weeks of school. With students becoming familiar with this new routine, bus routes may take more time.
Faded Stops: Stops in faded text are on the route, but do not pick up or drop off students attending this school.
Questions?: Contact Transportation.
Can't find your bus stop?: If you cannot find your child's bus stop, please fill out our customer support form to report a missing bus stop.
