Located in one of the fastest growing towns in the state, Holly Ridge Middle School is a traditional middle school focused on providing all students a well-rounded education focused on continuous growth and strong preparation for the opportunities of high school and beyond. Our mission at Holly Ridge Middle School is to educate, enrich, and empower students to become responsible and productive citizens of an evolving, technological society.
We operate a seven period schedule allowing students to take their core classes, health and physical education, and two electives each day. This schedule allows us to offer both enrichment and remediation as a regular part of our daily schedule.
Visit our website to see more of the great things happening at the Ridge! Also, feel free to take a look at our school fact sheet at the following link: http://hollyridgems.wcpss.net/factsheet2011.pdf
Traditional curriculum schools offer students high quality instruction, opportunities for advanced studies, creative exploration and extra-curricular activities in a nurturing educational setting. Some of the highest-performing schools in Wake County are traditional curriculum schools.
Important: Bus routes are subject to change based on actual student distribution, parent appeals, and other factors. The information here will be updated regularly, but updates may take several days to be reflected online. This route information last updated: 10:21 AM, Thu, Jul 24, 2014.
Stop times: Because routes change daily during the first weeks of school, specific stop times are not provided. Parents can anticipate a stop time based on the route start time, estimating 5 minutes between stops in suburban areas, and 5 to 10 minutes between stops in rural areas. The exact stop time will vary during the first weeks of school. Stop times may vary as much as 30 minutes as students settle into their routines. Students should be ready and waiting for the bus at least 10 minutes before the bus is expected to arrive.
Bus schedules: We urge parents to be patient as routes settle during the first few weeks of school. Bus routes may be extended by as much as 30 minutes as students become familiar with a new routine.
Questions?: Contact the Holly Springs Transportation Office.
Afternoon routes are usually the reverse of the morning routes.
