Description

Highcroft Drive Elementary School is an Honor School of Excellence and has been for the last seven years since it was opened by the current principal in 2004. At Highcroft we have a strong sense of community pride and effort. Our guiding principle is "People don't care how much we know until they know how much we care." (Author unknown)

Highcroft teachers and staff build positve, nurturing relationships with students so that children feel safe, supported and encouraged to achieve to each child's potential. We work hard to form cooperative partnerships with our parents who trust us with their child's education. It is an honor and privlege to educate each and every child.

In addition to the talented teachers and staff, another of the greatest benefits of Highcroft is the tremendous support we receive from our parents and the PTA. Numerous volunteers work cooperatively with our teachers to enhance the instructional program. The PTA organization sponsors many additional programs and events to enhance each child's education and build positive school spirit.

Please visit the Highcroft website to learn more and visit our school at one of the scheduled tours.

Important: Bus routes are subject to change based on actual student distribution, parent appeals, and other factors. The information here will be updated regularly, but updates may take several days to be reflected online. This route information last updated: 2:56 PM, Thu, Apr 3, 2014.

Stop times: Because routes change daily during the first weeks of school, specific stop times are not provided. Parents can anticipate a stop time based on the route start time, estimating 5 minutes between stops in suburban areas, and 5 to 10 minutes between stops in rural areas. The exact stop time will vary during the first weeks of school. Stop times may vary as much as 30 minutes as students settle into their routines. Students should be ready and waiting for the bus at least 10 minutes before the bus is expected to arrive.

Bus schedules: We urge parents to be patient as routes settle during the first few weeks of school. Bus routes may be extended by as much as 30 minutes as students become familiar with a new routine.

Questions?: Contact the Green Hope Transportation Office.
