East Wake Middle is a school where teachers aim to provide the best education possible by implementing interactive lessons, offering numerous options for extra-curricular activities, and providing support and enrichment for students as needed. The dedicated staff ensures meaningful instruction for diverse learners, providing specialized instruction to assist students to participate fully in the curriculum as well as to develop each student's ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.� Educators here work together as departments and teams to plan rigorous lessons that are directed at multiple learning styles.�
The school has strong and well-organized elective and physical education departments to further increase student development.� The school boasts a positive learning environment that is enriched by many different programs, such as literacy initiatives aimed at improving growth on End-of-Grade test scores, Positive Behavior Support to reward students for good behavior, award-winning sports teams, and a focus on technology enhanced by the new STEM Program.�

Stop times: Parents can anticipate a stop time based on the route start time, estimating 3 minutes between stops for neighborhood routes and 10 minutes for express routes. The exact stop time will vary during the first weeks of school. Students should be ready and waiting for the bus at least 10 minutes before the bus is expected to arrive.
Bus schedules: We urge parents to be patient as routes settle during the first few weeks of school. With students becoming familiar with this new routine, bus routes may take more time.
