The Board authorizes the maintenance of appropriate
individual school accounts. |

8220.1 |
The Board shall appoint a treasurer for each school
upon the recommendation of the superintendent. |

8220.2 |
The principal shall be responsible for proper
administration of financial activities of the school in accordance with
provisions of law and appropriate accounting practices and procedures. |

8220.3 |
All monies collected at the individual school level
shall be deposited and transferred to the system finance officer. |
||
|
8220.4 |
All monies transferred from the individual school to
the finance officer shall be deposited in the official depository of the
school system to the credit of the individual school. |
||
|
8220.5 |
Each payment made at the individual school level shall
be made on a check signed by both the principal and school treasurer. |
||
|
8220.6 |
Monies raised by student organizations shall be
expended for the benefit of students. |
||
|
8220.7 |
End-of-year reserves shall be limited to amounts
estimated as necessary to begin the following year's operations. |
