Annual
Assignment Process |

Each year the Board will review its school assignment
plan and make adjustments when needed.
Attendance area boundaries shall be shown on maps and approved by the Board. |

A. |
Each year the Growth Management staff will develop a
timeline for implementation of the annual assignment process. This timeline will be approved by the school
Board and will be available to parents. |

|
B. |
Attendance areas are reviewed annually and adjusted as
needed to establish new school attendance areas, and to meet overriding board
objectives of efficient facility utilization, achievement of student
diversity, efficient transportation patterns and preservation of the
integrity of the instructional program. |

C. |
The timelines will address all items considered in the
assignment of students, including but not limited to the following: |
