Resource
teachers shall possess specialized educational skills or knowledge and shall
be employed and assigned to strengthen one or more professional components of
a classroom or school. As the approved curriculum design of the school system
emphasizes specific areas of the instructional program, the administration
shall be authorized to assign properly qualified personnel as resource
teachers in the identified program areas, provided such use of personnel does
not jeopardize the system's compliance with state provisions regarding
maximum class size or federal comparability requirements. |
