When either the Superintendent or
a member of the Board finds that a specific program or project would benefit
from an ad hoc committee, such a committee may be established by vote of the
Board. |

1810.3 |
Ad hoc committees typically shall
be composed of between 9-15 members. Members shall serve at the pleasure of the
Board. |

A. |
No person shall serve on more than
two (2) committees at any one time. |
||||
|
|
B. |
Any citizen appointed to a
committee who is absent without excuse from three (3) consecutive meetings of
said committee may be removed. |

The
duties, term, responsibilities, and process for selection of the chair of
each committee shall be determined by the board. |

|
1810.5 |
Each specific program ad hoc
committee shall meet at least quarterly and more often if necessary. |

A. |
Each committee shall report its
findings and recommendations at least annually to the Board or the appropriate
standing committee of the Board. |

B. |
The meeting schedule of all ad hoc
committees shall be posted in accordance with the Open Meetings Laws of the
State of |

The Superintendent,
as secretary of the Board, shall inform the Board at least 60 days prior to
the expiration of a term of any member of an ad hoc committee. |
