1324 MINUTES 1324 The Superintendent,
in the role as secretary, shall be responsible for keeping complete records
of the actions of Board meetings. A.
Board Meeting Minutes 1.
Minutes shall be maintained for all regular and special Board
meetings. 2. Copies of the minutes of each meeting shall
be sent with the agenda to the members of the Board before the meeting at
which they are to be approved. 3. Minutes of each meeting shall be submitted
for approval at the next regularly scheduled meeting but not later than the
second regularly scheduled meeting. 4.
Corrections in the minutes may be made at the meeting at which they
are to be approved. 5.
Permanent minutes shall be signed by the Chair and the secretary upon
approval and transcription. 6.
Minutes of the Board, after adoption, are available during normal
working hours for public inspection at the Office of the Superintendent upon
appointment through her/his office. Minutes will also be posted on the school
district website. 7.
Minutes of any meeting must indicate the vote of each member in any
written ballot. Each Board member must
sign their written ballot. 8.
Ballots may not be destroyed until the minutes of the particular
meeting have been approved. B.
Committee Meeting Minutes 1.
Minutes shall be maintained for all committee meetings. 2.
Minutes of each meeting shall be submitted for approval at the next
regularly scheduled committee
meeting. 3.
Corrections in the minutes may be made at the committee meeting at
which they are to be approved.
4. Approved minutes shall be signed by the
committee chair and secretary of the committee and
submitted to the Board for approval. 5. After committee minutes are approved by the
Board of Education, committee minutes will also be signed by the Board Chair. C.
Archiving Minutes 1.
The minutes of duly constituted Board meetings shall be kept in an
official minute
book and shall be a complete
record of such minutes including resolutions, the
makers
and the seconders, and
motions in full. 2.
Papers not a part of a formal motion may be omitted from the minute
book if they are
referred
to and identified. |
