PROTECTION AGAINST SEX DISCRIMINATION TITLE IX

The Wake County Board of Education will not discriminate against anyone on the basis of sex in its educational programs or activities, in admission to its educational programs or activities, or in employment policies and practices in accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972.

Inquiries regarding compliance with Title IX may be directed to the Title IX Coordinator. The Title IX Coordinator is the assistant superintendent for student services or her/his designee and may be reached at (919) 850-1600.  Correspondence to the Title IX Coordinator should be sent to 3600 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh, North Carolina 27609-7329.

Grievances regarding alleged sexual harassment may be raised according to the procedures outlined in Board Policy 2320/3035/4035/6415.
