staff of the school system shall take advantage of community educational
resources to the extent to which they provide the best means of reaching
educational objectives of the system. |

Live
projects and practical work experiences, within or outside school, valuable
to students and under the supervision of a teacher, are an appropriate part
of vocational education instruction in skills-development courses. To the extent that such experiences provide
effective skills training, they may be included as part of the instructional
program in accordance with regulations and procedures established by the
superintendent. |
