Assignment of students
to classes is the responsibility of the principal. |

Grouping of students
for instruction shall be on the basis of the most desirable combination of a
number of important factors. Students
who can succeed and maintain a feeling of belonging should be grouped
together based upon: |

What is best for the
individual pupil, |
||
|

B. |
What is best for the
group with which she/he is placed, |
||
|
|
C. |
What is best for
effective instruction of the group, |
||
|
|
D. |
What is best as
indicated by grouping criteria established by the Superintendent. |
||
|
These criteria will be based on the best objective test data and the
IEP for identified handicapped students. |
||||
