EXTRA-CURRICULAR PROGRAM

Classified employees may volunteer or assist with extra-curricular activities.  The school system will comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act in providing nominal fees or salary for participating employees.

Teacher assistants may not be assigned coaching responsibilities without the written approval of the principal and the assistant superintendent for human resources – staffing and development.

The Superintendent is authorized to create regulations to implement this policy.
