The Board sees a need from time to time to cooperate with individuals and agencies wishing to conduct research in the system insofar as the proposed research is likely to result in improved service to students without detracting from the primary mission of the school.  The superintendent shall review requests from individuals and/or agencies for any research project and shall report to the board each instance in which approval of a research study is granted.
