QUALIFICATIONS OF SUPERINTENDENT |

To be
eligible for service as Superintendent, a person shall: |

A. |
Be a resident
of |

|
B. |
Have good
moral character. |
||
|
C. |
Possess an
earned doctorate or the equivalent. |
||
|
D. |
Hold or be
qualified to hold the |
||
|
E. |
Have had
three years' experience in school work in the past ten (10) years. |
||
|
F. |
Provide
evidence of good health. |
||
|
G. |
Be elected by
a majority vote of the Board. |
||
|
H. |
Have entered
into a written contract with the Wake County Board of Education, a copy of
which contract shall have been filed with the state superintendent of public
instruction. |
||
|
I. |
Take an oath
of office as provided by law. |
||
