PUBLIC HEARINGS

The Board may from time to time, in accordance with law and its policy, conduct a public hearing on a given subject.  

1315.1

The purpose of a public hearing shall be to determine public sentiment on a matter that merits Board consideration.

1315.2

In order to gain maximum benefit from a public hearing, the Board’s role shall be as listeners rather than as active participants.
