Mobile Enrollment Locations to Help Families Choose Schools
To Pre-Enroll a New Student, You Will Need:

Proof of your address
A photo ID of the parent or guardian
Your child's immunization records
After pre-enrollment, parents must also create a user account on the assignment website if they don't already have one.
Jan. 17, 2012 - On the road and in communities around Wake County, the Wake County Public School System is rolling out help for families who need to enroll their children or choose a school for next year.
New kindergartners, families new or returning to WCPSS, and families who wish to change their pre-assigned school for next year must participate in the online choice selection process that began this afternoon. To assist families in areas of high economic need or low response to previous student assignment tests, WCPSS is offering a number of mobile enrollment events where student assignment staff will provide computers and assistance in helping parents choose.
"We are so grateful to the community partners who are helping us establish these mobile sites," said Cris Mulder, WCPSS chief of family and community engagement. "This is a new student assignment plan that requires parents to make choices earlier, which makes it vital for us to be on the street and in the neighborhoods."
