Modifications to School Board Public Comment Sign up
August 5, 2010 - Several changes are being made to the process for signing up for public comment at Wake County School Board meetings. These modifications will be implemented beginning Tuesday, Aug 10.- Speakers will no longer be asked for their address when signing up – only the name of their town or city.
- Individuals holding a seating voucher will be asked to provide the voucher number on the public comment sign-up sheet. The voucher number will assist staff in locating the speaker in the event that over-flow seating is being used.
These changes are in an effort to make signing up for public comment faster, more efficient and equitable.
