Learning on TV: Full Circle and The School Connection
October 6, 2009 - Fighting H1N1 flu, the upcoming Magnet Fair, disability awareness, and the continuing quiet revolution of the 2007 Curriculum Management Audit are in the spotlight on this month's public access video programs from the Wake County Public School System.
Our new in-depth discussion program, Full Circle, explores the significant changes in how we ensure learning and teaching occur consistently and well in all of our schools across Wake County. Guests include chief academic officer Dr. Donna Hargens and East Wake School of Integrated Technology principal Jamee Lynch. Senior director of magnet programs David Ansbacher also drops by to discuss the upcoming magnet fair.
WCPSS's magazine program, The School Connection, features the following segments:
- Fighting the Flu
- Magnet Fair
- Center for International Enrollment
- Wake Early College of Health and Science
- Disability History and Awareness Month
The School Connection and Full Circle currently air on Time Warner Cable access channels. TV schedules, full episodes and a complete archive are also posted to the WCPSS website.
