Fish serves as a mentor to the SAVE Club members. They consider her a trusted adult with excellent advice. Some of these students have very serious issues that Fish often finds herself working with the guidance counselors in order to help them beyond a normal mentoring capacity. She promotes SAVE whenever possible, making sure that any SAVE events or meeting news is disseminated through announcements, publications and weekly phone messages.

During her tenure as SAVE Advisor of the Year, Fish will serve on the National Association of SAVE Board of Directors.  Her hands-on work and knowledge with SAVE will be a valuable asset for the Board of Directors.
