  • Join us for parent information sessions at 10AM on the first and third Tuesdays from Sept - Feb at the Magnet Resource Center.
  • Visit magnet elementary schools during open house on November 12th. Information sessions and tours at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm
  • Visit magnet middle schools during open house on November 17th. Information sessions and tours at 9:00 am and 12:00 pm

Objectives

Magnet Programs will be used to foster healthy schools throughout the Wake County Public School System by using choice to help:

  • Reduce high concentrations of poverty and support diverse populations
  • Maximize use of school facilities
  • Provide expanded educational opportunities
