Wake Kids for Katrina

Pleasant Union Elementary students and staff will be collecting money to aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina as part of the Wake Kids for
Katrina effort. Money collected will be donated to the American Red Cross.
From September 12 through September 23rd collections jars will be placed in the front lobby of school during arrival. Our 5th grade students will be assisting with the collections. We are accepting both cash and checks. Checks should be made payable to the American Red Cross with "Wake Kids for Katrina" noted in the memo section.
We will be monitoring the progress of the relief effort to determine how we can provide additional assistance in the future.
