Karing Koalaty Kids's Koin Drive

The Northwoods Koalaty students, staff and PTA are banning together to aid the families affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Students will be taking part in a "Karing Koalaty Kid's Koin" drive September 9th - September 23rd. Our own Mr. Gammill and Mrs. Rockwell will stop by each classroom to help collect coins for this very important cause. They are challenging the students to do as much as they can for those families displaced by the hurricane.
The PTA will also have an "Open your Hearts at Open House" effort to collect funds. There will be a donation jar in the lobby during Open House for contributions. All donations collected from the coin drive as well as Open House will go to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Checks can be made payable to the American Red Cross.
