Lufkin Road Middle School is selling wrist bands for $5 to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Also, our 7-3 (Electric Eel) team has a contest
going, headed by Jodi Akins. The Red team is holding a car wash, the Yellow Team is renting themselves out for Odd Jobs, the Green Team is
holding a Bake Sale/drinks/small crafts sale at the first Lufkin Soccer Game on September 22, and the Blue Team is holding a carnival on September 24 on the Lufkin football field.
