The PTA has arranged for a 48-foot long truck to be parked at Reedy Creek Middle School on Friday, Sept. 2 for one week. During this time, the school is hoping to fill 4,000 boxes with relief supplies. Items most needed: soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, paper towels, disposable diapers, wipes, sanitizers, cleaning supplies, non-perishable foods (cans, breakfast bars, pop-tarts, cereals), new or clean gently used clothing. The school is putting a box in each classroom and hoping to fill each. They hope to get these out to those most in need as quickly as possible. The school will also be collecting money for the Red Cross Disaster Relief.
