Coin Wars

The Broughton High School Student Council has designated all proceeds of its Coin Wars competition to be given to the American Red Cross. Coin Wars is an annual competition that is part of Homecoming activities. Each class had a bottle for collection efforts- pennies, bills and checks being "good" for positive points. Silver coins in a bottle are "bad" and result in negative points towards the totals for each class. Collection efforts ended on September 23rd.
The total amount of funds raised for the American Red Cross will be announced on October 7 at the Homecoming football game.

Schoolwide food/supplies/water drive
Runs: September 6-21
Broughton’s Senior class council has organized a schoolwide food/supplies/water drive for the victims of the storm. They will begin collecting supplies on Tuesday and continue until Sept. 21.
