COMMUNITY ACCELERATED LEARNING PROGRAMSponsored by the Wake County Public School System, Prevention Services |
WHAT IS COMMUNITY ALP?
Community ALP is an extension of ALP. Through community ALP, certified teachers go to local community centers and agencies to provide services to children in third through eighth grades who scored a level one or two on the North Carolina End of Grade Test.
HOW OFTEN DO THE TEACHERS HOLD COMMUNITY ALP SESSIONS?
The teachers will hold two, two-hour sessions per week, Monday through Thursday. The days of the week and the times are based on the agreement with the host site and the teacher. There are no sessions on Fridays, during teacher workdays or days with inclement weather.
