Mission Statement: OCIPD supports and develops professional learning systems for employees to achieve district goals.
The Office of Continuous Improvement and Professional Development operates within the Instructional Services Division. OCIPD facilitates school improvement by developing, coordinating, and offering professional growth opportunities for administrators, teachers and support staff. OCIPD staff work with schools and departments to develop and provide quality learning experiences for all WCPSS staff.
OCIPD, located at the Harriet B Webster Center for Professional Development in Cary, serves staff in all schools and all departments. OCIPD maintains five meeting rooms and three computer training labs at the Webster Center as a convenient and comfortable facility for WCPSS meetings and professional learning activities.
