My child is attends a magnet school that is being demagnetized. What options do we have?

If your child is a magnet student at a magnet school that is being demagnetized you have several options.
Your child may remain at that school and maintain their magnet status until the end of that grade configuration. If they presently receive transportation, they will maintain their transportation until the end of the phase out period. All siblings may enter the school as long one sibling is still there and have magnet status.
You may apply to attend another magnet school and receive a priority during the 2008 application period.
You may request to go back to your base school.
