When are make-up days?

Make-up days will vary according to whether your child attends a traditional calendar school, a year-round school or a modified calendar school. All days must be made up, regardless of the calendar, as the state requires a full 180 days in the school year.
For traditional schools, please consult the instructional calendars ( http://www.wcpss.net/Calendars/ ) for make-up days. Make-up days are used in the order they appear on the calendar. For year-round schools, make-up days are usually scheduled for the Saturday after the missed day.
Because of the complexity of the year-round and modified calendars, makeup days are not set until inclement weather actually forces a closing.
